By now, most of us have selected our co-stars for New Year’s Eve. Peeking through their dress bags, they are waiting in the wings for the big performance this Saturday night. We will transition from the reds and golds of Christmas to the blacks and sparkle of the New Year.
I spend much of my New Year’s Eve dress-watching. I appreciate the effort of finding a dress that will glamorize while allowing for the many moves of a night of ballroom dancing. I find it somewhat ironic that our Cinderella night comes just one week after the most gluttonous time of the year but I had nothing to do with this scheduling. We will say good-bye to the leftovers and starve ourselves for a few days to be sure that every zipper zips and every clasp hooks. Whether off the sale rack or the designer rack, we will decorate the dance floor.
It will be an exciting night of dancing and dress-watching. I look forward to seeing many of you in a few days , ready with my camera for some pictures of you and your co-stars.
See You on the Floor!
